EKG / Endoscopy

EKG is used to diagnose cardiac related problems in animals. Some of these problems are: Cardiomegally (enlarged Heart) Cardiomyopathies (diseased muscles of the heart) & Congestive Heart Failure. This type of testing can also be used to determine if a pet is strong enough to go under anesthesia and also to diagnose poisoning and check for chemical imbalances.

Endoscopy is the use of a small camera on the end of a tube that allows our Miami Vets to get a closer look at the lower and upper GI (gastrointestinal system)  of your pet. It can also be used to remove objects swallowed by pets without the need for surgery in some cases.
